Sending Going Inactive Autoseries or other Advanced Filters

There are slightly different instructions if you're sending the message via email or SMS

SMS

  1. Ensure that you have SMS enabled on your site
  2. Do a fresh import from YL virtual office and make sure to include order history
  3. From CRM Contacts click on Advanced Search and then click on "No Order in Six Months"
  4. Adjust the order dates if you'd like.
  5. Under the filter item that says Email Status - change that to SMS Status
  6. Back on your filtered contact list click the Check Box next to First Name to "Select All". Then choose the "Select all link" at the top of your contact list if it appears
  7. From the Bulk actions drop down choose Send Autoseries and "Apply".
  8. Go through the steps to choose your autoseries and send

Email

As you're working with your contact list you'll have contacts with different email statuses. Just remember

  • Contacts with Email Statuses Not-Invited or Pending can be sent  Invitations
  • Contacts who are "Subscribed" can be sent any Autoseries or Messages

We automatically filter our invalid contacts, and we have pre-built email lists that will help you automatically select your contacts who need invites or your contacts who are subscribed. However, what if you want to create an advanced search to find your contacts who have not placed an order in six months.  

Some of them will need invitations to opt-in to your list, but some may already be subscribed. In this case we'll send the message separately to the two groups.


Here would be your steps for filtering your list and and sending an autoseries to a group of contacts who had mixed email statuses

First lets send to contacts who are already subscribed

  1. Do a fresh import from YL virtual office and make sure to include order history. Here is how to import contacts
  2. From CRM Contacts click on Advanced Search and then click on "No Order in Six Months"
  3. Adjust the order dates if you'd like. These are your "subscribed" contacts... click Search
  4. Back on your filtered contact list click the Check Box next to First Name to "Select All". Then choose the "Select all link" at the top of your contact list if it appears
  5. From the Bulk actions drop down choose Send Autoseries and "Apply".
  6. Go through the steps to choose your autoseries and send



Next let's do the same for your contacts who are not yet subscribed

  1. From CRM Contacts click on Advanced Search and then click on "No Order in Six Months"
  2. Adjust the order dates if you'd like. Change "Subscribed" to "pending". Click the Or button right underneath and choose Email Status = Not-Invited. This will then show your contacts that are "pending" or "not-invited". Click Search
  3. Back on your filtered contact list click the Check Box next to First Name to "Select All". Then choose the "Select all link" at the top of your contact list if it appears
  4. From the Bulk actions drop down choose Send Invitation and "Apply".
  5. On the next screen choose to send the invitation with an autoseries invite.
